Friend hangout ideas

Everyone says you always meet your best friends in college, and I truly believe that I have. Going into college I was nervous about making true friends because of how close I am with my friends from home. I know this isn’t the case for everyone, but on my first night in college, I met some of my best friends that I still have and believe I will have for the rest of my life. Throughout my college career, I have met even more of my best friends, and hanging out with them is the best part of my day. I’m fortunate enough to live with a few of my best friends which is something that I will miss most once graduating from college. Although most nights we are just hanging out on the couch or going to one of my other friend's houses, sometimes we like to do something different to make our hangouts more fun. Here are some cheap hangout ideas that you could try with some of your friends!

Something that my friends and I love to do when we don't want to just sit on the couch is going mini golfing. We found an indoor mini-golf place near us, and it has become one of our favorite things to do. My friends and I are all competitive so that makes it even more fun. The place we go to is pretty cheap which is great for broke college students like us, and there is an arcade too which is always fun to do after we play our game of mini golf.

My friends and I also take advantage of living by the beach when we hang out. We love to hang out on the beach to bring schoolwork, food, go on a walk, or even just go to layout at the beginning and end of the school year when it’s still hot.

Like I said previously, most of the time my friends and I just hang out on our couch and watch TV or movies. We do this almost every single day and it allows us to catch up on our days and get some quality time with each other which is super important. If we don’t want to stay home and watch a movie, we also like to go to the movies, but we do not do this too often because the price of going to the movies is crazy. It’s always fun to binge out on snacks and popcorn and go see new movies with each other.

Another super fun hang-out idea that my friends and I have done is a PowerPoint night. This is something you could do for free and was one of the best memories I have with my friends. We all thought of categories and then made a slideshow and correlated the slide with a friend in the group. Some examples that we have used are: Songs to describe each friend, Everyone's celebrity lookalikes, Everyone's starter pack, and a few more but there are a bunch of ideas online that you can look up!

Whatever you do with your friends, if they are your true friends, you can make it a good, fun time!
